复活节（回答咱们中国人最不理解的几个问题）

很多家长都要带孩子参加复活节party，但对复活节的来历和纪念意义并不知晓。每年的复活节日期都不同，日期又是如何得来的？看看漫画中的小雅是怎么说的吧。

小孩：妈妈，周日有复活节party~

Child: Mom, Easter party is on this Sunday.

妈妈：我记得是4月，清明节之后啊。

Mom: I remember that it’s in April, after the Qingming Festival.

其实，这位妈妈说的没错，2010-2020年的复活节多数都在四月份。

Actually, mom is mostly correct. Between 2010 - 2020, most of the Easter Sunday is in April.

妈妈：呼叫小雅!

Mom: Calling Xiaoya!

小雅：复活节是3月21日当天或之后的首个满月之后的首个星期日~

Xiaoya: Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon that occurs on or after March 21st.

妈妈：饶了我吧。

Mom: I give up.

小雅：一步一步来：春分是哪天？

Xiaoya: Let me walk you through this step by step. On which day do we get spring equinox [‘i:kwinɔks]?

妈妈：3月21日啊。

Mom: Umm... March 21st.

小雅：很好，那哪天月亮最圆？

Xiaoya: Good. So when do we get the full moon?

妈妈：阴历十五啊，3月23日。

Mom: The 15th in lunar calendar terms, which is March 23rd.

妈妈：“复活”是什么意思？

Mom: Why is it called “fuhuo”?

小雅：就是耶稣在Good Friday受难了，三天后又复活了。（周五早上受难周日下午复活）

Xiaoya: That is because Jesus was crucified ['kru:si,fai] on Good Friday and was resurrected (“fuhuo”) three days later. (Friday morning to sunday afternoon.)

妈妈：受难，怎么还good？

Mom: Why is it called “Good” Friday when it’s the day that Jesus was crucified?

小雅：因为耶稣的死救赎了世人，不过......

Xiaoya: Jesus was crucified on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven, but...

小雅：Good Friday确实挺好的，因为在好多国家都放假。

Xiaoya: Good Friday is also good because it is a public holiday in many countries.
